Prairie Optometry Mission Statement: “To serve and add value”

Dr. Kristine Wilkinson started practicing optometry in 2009 in Australia. She and her husband Ryan moved back home to Saskatoon in 2010 and not long after had the opportunity to start working with Dr. Hank Drexler. Dr. Wilkinson was grateful to start her career in a well established practice that has been servicing a wide range of Saskatoon and surrounding area since 1989.  In 2013 the clinic was renamed to Prairie Optometry in honor our roots and the patients we serve.

Prairie Optometry has been growing and expanding since then with Dr. Sheryl Piteau joining the practice in 2014.  She is an amazing addition to the team and we have been grateful to have her with us.

Recently in June 2020 Prairie Optometry has had to privilege to expand into two new locations.  Serving patients at our Stonebridge Office located in Factory Optical in Stonebridge as well as our new Lawson Office located in Factory Optical in the Lawson Heights mall. We are excited to give our patients more access to different locations. We are grateful to our staff and clients for their support as we have navigated these new waters of expansion and especially during these unprecedented times!

As an optometrist office we strive to stay up to date with equipment and technology to serve our clients in the best way possible. Our doctors and staff keep up to date on the newest treatments and practices by routinely participating in continuing education. In this day and age we continue to stay abreast of the ever evolving situation so clients can have continue to have access to the eye care they need in the safest manner possible. We offer convenient day, evening, and weekend hours to best serve your needs. Whether you have been a patient with us for years or are a first time patient, we look forward to hearing from you and seeing you!
